EDI's Ministry

The biggest need in contemporary ministry is encouragement.   Today's fastest growing movement in overseas work is "Pastors To Missionaries".  The Lord has placed EDI on the cutting edge of such a ministry through its mission of encouragement and discipleship.  EDI's purpose is to provide encouragement to evangelical missionaries, mission boards and nationals through short-term ministries.

EDI is dedicated to encourage and strengthen through the teaching of God's Word.  This is done in the context of seminars, conferences, teaching, preaching, consulting and serving.  EDI also encourages by providing needed professional help in the area of facility designing and construction.

Our ministry is to provide needed items and services to mission fields and missionaries to which we minister.  This would include personnel, equipment, materials, labor, clothes, books and medical exams.

You Can Minister with EDI!

EDI's full time staff provides encouragement to many ministries around the world.  But we can not begin to minister to all organizations we come in contact with.  Nor do we have all of the expertise needed.  But we are part of the Body of Christ.  And as Paul states in I Corinthians 12, we are part of a body that God has gifted with many unique individuals and many unique talents.

We put people with skills together will ministries with needs.  Can you provide encouragement to a fellow believer in Christ with the skills and talents God has given you?  This may be related to teaching and counseling, or it may be as a construction worker/laborer, architect, engineer, or some other lay skill profession.  We want to put servants of God in ministry, whether short term, or long term.

Is God speaking to your heart?
